Crayons

This is Mckay our foster Pyrnees.  He's not eating well, and Rosie is really starting to bother him by wanting to play all of the time!

Drew and I went to Crayola Adventure on Friday as a part of his long weekend off.  I thought it would only take us an hour, but instead it took 3!!  We were pretty tired and hungry when we were done.  We wished we would have left earlier, so that we would have had more time to go to the arcade, and dinner afterwards.

Aamodts Apple Orchard

Last month Drew and I took our annual trip to the apple orchard.  This year we picked honey crisp.  We got one big bag for $40.  We made an apple pie, apple cupcakes, apple cake, and a couple batches of apple pancakes.

The last 3 weeks we didn't do much on the weekend because I did 3 weeks student teaching at North St. Paul High School.  The weekends were mostly spent cleaning, and cooking.

We are looking forward to MEA weekend, when John and Drew have 4 days off!

Andrews/Russell Camping trip

This year for our family camping trip we camped at Prairie Island Campground near Winona, MN.  It rained for more than half of the trip.

We think Drew got bit by sand fleas after him and Toria buried themselves in the sand.

Kelly, Jason and Kelson joined us on this camping trip.

Betty Buns even got to come along.

 

Rosie was tuckered out on her 2nd camping trip.

Mom/kid camping trip 2016 @ Baker Regional Park

Our 2nd annual mom/kid camping trip took place a Baker Regional Park near Lake Minnetonka.  The big hit was Rosie the Boxador that we adopted from Golden Valley Human Society.
