The D's
Drew loves Dinosaurs and Dragons!
He made this great poster in Mr. Burr's class.
This mask we printed off at home. He scared me by hiding on the steps and waiting for me to come and see him.

Spring Break 2016
This spring break Drew and I went to Christmas Mountain Village in Wisconsin Dells.
The first night grandma, grandpa, Adrix and Toria came to swim and stay overnight.
The following day they painted wood crafts together.
Drew's 3rd tooth got loose!
The inside of the cabin was small and cozy.
The extra bedroom with twin beds.
Drew and I spent the afternoon out and about. We went to the Dells Mining Company, Goodie Goodie Gum Drop, Carr Valley Cheese, and the Riverside Restaurant.
The Espinosas came for the later park of the week. We went to dinner at Moosejaw Pizza & Dells Brewing Company Co.
Boys did some ceramic painting.
Pizza in the cabin.
Tubing!
Getting ready for bed on our last night.

Parent Teacher Conference
To summarize Drew's conference, it wasn't too much different from the first conference we had in November after we had moved him from LEVEL UP. The green marks are from the first conference, and the red marks are from the spring conference. Mr. Burr used a different color pen, just to note the differences, and really there weren't many.
So, overall, he's proficient in almost everything, except knowing his address, telephone number, writing, and tying his shoes.
Mr. Burr said that he's very ready for first grade, the other kids like him, he has good friends, but he doesn't need them to play...he can play by himself.
He was very surprised with his reading progress, and predicts that he's going to be a kid that does very well in school.
Drew was in on the conference. I know he loved hearing such good things about himself, even when I told Mr. Burr that Drew doesn't like lunch. Mr. Burr thinks maybe because it's too loud.
Anyhow, Drew told me in the car when we were driving home that when the kids get to close to him he farts.
Overall, I'm not sure how these examples match up.....but only time will tell.
As, Mr. Burr says, don't lose this time, because he's(Drew) changing quickly.
After the conference we had a surprise visit from my cousin, Ben, and low and behold, he can do the pogo...so, that was a pretty fun morning surprise for me.
